Synopsis

During our residency at Frans Masereel Centrum, we used a wide array of selfmade tools, like spatulas and combs, to scratch away ink from sheets, which we then used to make monoprints.

‘Synopsis' brings the findings of this period together into one composition. Using the same technique, we assembled different small sheets into one large composition, which we then exposed directly on a silkscreen, preserving as much detail as possible in the process.
